I received a super speedy reply to my inquiry regarding the printer I was looking to purchase. When I sought an update on the delivery, I got a response right away. The package showed up just as they said it would. The refurbished printer works perfectly. I'm pleased with the service from this company.

Awesome service, fast shipping, and the products were just as described. Much appreciated! One minor hiccup was not getting an email confirmation for the order or any updates on delivery. It showed up super quick, but since this was for a business and we’re located on a big university campus, it was a bit tricky to keep tabs on it. Still, that doesn’t take away from the 5-star rating.

Athema's business practices are downright questionable, and it's just wrong to hit customers with a 25% restocking fee right at the checkout, especially when the return is due to their own mistakes! In my situation, they insisted I’d be charged for sending back a refurbished printer, which I would’ve had to pay for anyway. I needed to print some documents for a project I was flying out for that evening, but the printer didn’t even come with a power cord, let alone the toner it was supposed to have. I was just so annoyed that I wanted to send it back, and I ended up using my neighbor's printer instead.

Sure, they offered to send me a power lead, but when I followed up about the missing toners, they just ignored me. The last email I got said, "I’m not prepared to argue with you over this anymore," which is a fantastic way to treat customers, right? It was clear my original emails weren’t even read properly based on their responses.

To make matters worse, I found another company selling the same printer for 30-40% less. I get that every business might have a bad review here and there, but after what I went through, I doubt Athema will even blink at this negative feedback.

In response to Athema's comments on my first review:

Looks like Athema not only lacks ethics but also basic etiquette. Their reply was just nonsense. I never named any staff member, but maybe I should have to highlight their poor attitude towards customers. I was respectful, but judging by their response, that was a mistake. They claimed it’s risky to post a false review, yet they don’t seem to understand what defamation means, openly calling me a liar. If that doesn’t show you who you’re dealing with, go ahead and do business with them, but consider yourself warned. If they ask for a receipt for the toners I had to buy, I’d gladly provide it. Their arrogance is just mind-boggling.

Great service and super fast, but hitting that £15 minimum order can be a bit tricky since the part I needed for my printer was just £9.95. Luckily, Darren was on it and got everything sorted. Now my 14-year-old HP printer is running like a champ again!
